chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said

of sound Mind Memory and Understanding but Lunatick and distracted
on the Thirty first day of December in the Year aforesaid at the said Parish
of St. James
within the Liberty and County aforesaid, a certain Piece of small
Cord unto a certain Wooden Ladder standing in the Shop of him the said

in the said Parish Liberty and County and the other
end thereof about his own neck did fix tie and fasten and therewith did then
and these hang suffocate and strangle himself of which said hanging
suffocation and strangling he the said

And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say, that the
