within the Liberty of Westminster
in the
County of Middlesex
upon an Inquisition
touching the death of

lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
& County.

Laborer on his Oath saith That
on Friday last the Ninth Instant Dept. was
at Work for Thomas Simpson< no role >
& Company at the
Water Works at Primlies in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square
and being here with Richard Brown< no role >
and Others unloading Wooden Pipes out of
a Barge, and the Deced was driving the Horse
in the Crane Says that one End of the Pape was
Grounded That the Deced let the Horse loose
and the Crane went round and that the Bed
or Wooden Barr forced the Deced against a
short upright Post, upon which the Deced sat down
complained of being hurt in his Bowells; and
of being very much hurt there, and Says
that the hurt which the Deced reced [..]
merely Accidental.

Westmr. on his Oath saith That on the Ninth
Instant Richard Brown< no role >
the Deced
was brought
to said Hospital Complaining of a pair in his
Bowels which he reced by a Blow, Says that
Mr. Watson ordered every thing Necessary to
be done for the Deced, but Deced died there this
Morning about Seven o' Clock Says that he opene'd
the Body this Evening and found a Mortification
in the Bowels which was occasioned by the
Blow abovementioned which was the cause
of Deced's Death.
