Informations taken this Thirty
first day of August 1789 at the Parish
of St. Paul Covent Garden within the Liberty
of Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of Patrick
Baughan
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and Country

John Toward< no role > a Lodger at the Sign of the
Ball in Exeter Street in the Parish of St
Paul Covent Garden Chairman on his both
saith That this Morning about Eleven
o' Clock the Deced was in Covent Garden
for being Henry Street Selling Phimbs, Says
that so measured a Quart of Phembs
for a Customer and gave the Woman
a Great in Charge Says that the Woman
went away and that the Deced was going
to sit upon a Packet as Dept. thought
but fell backwards, and never spoke
afterwards, Says that no Person Shov'd
or meddled with the Deced when he fell
down and Dept. believes that he died
in a Fit

Thomas Kibble< no role > of Lawrs Street in the
Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden Surgeon
on his Oath saith That this day between
Eleven and Twelve o' Clock this Dept met
desired to go to a Man who had dropped
down in Covent Garden , Says that he went
immediately and saw the Deced who
appeared to be dead having an Pulse, Says
that he saw no Marks of violence upon the
Body
