he kicked the Watchmen or any other Person.Deponent
saw one of the Watchman strike Gage with a Stick over
the Skins.Deponent was told at this time that Davis
the Deceased had been Kicked by Gage-and Deponent
heard [..] Gage himself say that Davis the Deceased had
Squeezed him by the Testicles, but Deponent did not

John Rock< no role > one of the Watchmen of St. Martin in the
Fields on his Oath Saith that oneThursday theNight last
Week after One o'Clock he saw a Number of People
gathered together in the Narrow passage leading out of Broad
Court into Long Acre , and when he got up to them he
saw a Man lying down on his Back, the Deceased and three
other Watchmen were about him and he Seemed much in
LiquorDeponent and the Deceased and one Moore a
Watchman put a Stick under the Man and carryed him
along for about fifteen Yards, and he bone very much on
themDeponent received a Kick from Gage the Man they
was carrying, and said to Davis the Deceased that he had
been kicked by Gage, and Davis the Deceased immediately
said

said he had been Kicked too by Gage woofully , the
Man (Gage) was taken to the Watch House, and the
Deceased (Davis) gave a Charge against Gage for
kicking him, and the Deponent also gave a Charge
against Gage for Kicking him and breaking his Lanthern
and the Deceased then with the Deponent's assistance
went home not being able to do any more Duty. Deponent
Says that Gage Said that Davis the Deceased had squeeged
him by the Testicles which was the occasion of his kicking
him, but Deponent did not see Davis the Deceased do so
and when Gage Said so, the Deceased answered he did not

Robert Farr< no role > of No. 14 Grays Inn Square Gentleman on
his Oath saith That one Night last Week after Twelve
o'Clock being at Mr. Carters the Wrecking in Broad Court
he heard the Watchmens Rattles go went out to the
end of Broad Court at the top of Bow Street and Saw a
Men of the some of Gage laying on his Back with his
Head hanging over the Kirb, he appeared to Deponent at
that time to be in a Fit, then he saw Mr. Carter remove
