Informations taken this fourteenth
day of July 1789 at the Parish of St. James
William be Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Charles Morgan< no role > lying dead
in the Parish Liberty and County.

Mary Davies< no role > Servant to Morgan Williams< no role >
Victualler at the Sign of the three Compasses in
King Street in the Parish of St. James Westmr
on her Oath saith That she has known Charles
Morgan
< no role > the Deced about five months and that
he spent the Evening last Night in Mr. Williams
House with her Brother and some of his
Shop mates, Tath the Deced's Brother Lodged
there and Dept. believes that he went to
Bed between Eleven and Twelve o'Clock
out Dept, did not know that the Deced Skept
there, Says that between Ten and Eleven
this Morning Dept. went to make Walter
Morgan
< no role > 's Bed, when she saw the Deced
Hanging by a Cord in the Corner of the
Room, Says that she was fightend, came
down stairs an acquainted her Master
therewith, and he went up Stairs immediately
Says that she heard no Nose in the Garret
last Night or this Morning and beleives
that the Deced Hanged himself Says
that the Deced way very dull last Night
and did not speak to the Company who
were very Chearful.
