William Griffin< no role > of Carthe Street Piccadilly , Painter, lodger at
No. 12, on his Oath saith that on Sunday the 14th. of June
Instant he went in Company with the Deceased and one
Thomas Whitewood< no role > to Chiswick in Order to go to Mr. James
a Plumber Glazier and Painter to get Work and they were
to go to Work the next Morning, after this they went
to rural Places and drank so very freely that they Dept.
himself become to very much intoxicated that he has no
recollection of what happened afterwards either to himself
or his companions.

Dresser on his Oath saith that on Sunday the 14 instant
they Deceased helefthisthe Depts. Horse in the afternoon and did not come home
tile 12 after 12 at Night,inthe next Morning the Deceased told the
Deponent he had been ill used on the Read, beat and kicked about the Body and
almost killed,DepDeceased told the Deponent that he
was very much in liquor, and did not know how it had
happened, Deponent saw a Seratch near the left Eye and
Dept. took the Deced to Mr Pratt Apothecary whose Man ordered a Poultice
a Graze on the Check ald to do all that was next Son Deceased complained of a pain in his
Body, said some Body had put him on the top of a Stage
Deponent says the Deceased was in a Delirium or rather out of his Mind for Mice Days
before his Death.Deponent says that about two Days after

the Deceased told him that it was owing to two Young Woman that
he and his Companions Mot on the Road and wore Polick some
with that a Mob ensured and the Accident happenedDeponent
says the Deceased made Bloody Water all the time

< no role > Borge Master, on her Oath saith that on Sunday the 14th
of June Instant about ½ after 9 o'Clock in the Evening, she was
walking with three Ladie's in the Mall at Hammersmith , Mrs.
Day, Miss Day, and Mrs. Cocks, and three Men who were very
much in Liquor to much that they could seasce stand, began to
insult them and [..] endeavour to use them in a very much and inde cent
manner, and were endeavouring to present them going along
one of them a tall Man struck the Deponent on the side, and
they held up their Fists to each of the Ladies, which to much
frightened and alarmed them that Mrs. Cocks had presence of
Mind to ring at Esqr. Walnestys House who took them into
his House, and the Aten were scuffling and trying to follow
them into the House but more preventedthe Deponent and
one of the Ladies fainted away soon after and they saw nothing
of the Affray that they hand afterwards had happened.
