Informations taken this fifth day of
June 1789 at the Parish of St. John the
Evangelist within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
for Thomas Good< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

John Jones< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Fry's in Vine Street
Sixth on his Oath saith That he worked
Yesterday at Mr. Bezant a Smith in Hill
Bank Row in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist
Westmr. where Mr. Good likewise a worked
Says that Yesterday Afternoon (being his
Majesty's Birth Day) Thomas Good< no role > the Deced
for Joy was firing some small Guns, there and
after Firing off Nine of them Deced was
Firing them off a Second time when
one of the Guns burst and a piece of
it struck the Right Breast of the Deced
whereby the Deced reced a Wound there
Says that the Deced fell down and died
in a very few Minutes, Says that the
Deced was desired not to Fire that Run
but he would fire it, and Says that the
Deced of death was Accidental by the Bursting
of the Gun.
