Informations taken this Eighth day of
April 1789 at the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
a new born Male Child lying dead In
the said Parish Liberty & County

Ann Brown< no role > Nurse to Mrs. King of George
Street York Buildings in the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields on her Oath saith
That Mrs. King was taken in Labour on
Friday last and continued in Labour
until Sunday Night late or Monday
Morning when she was Delivered of
a Male Child by the Assistance of Dr.
Garth shore who attented her the Child
being still Born, the Body was fort brought
and then the Head, Says that on Monday
last the Sixth Instant this Dept. by the
desire of Mr. King carried the Child to Mr.
Ealand the Sextons House of the Parish of
St. Martins in order to have it Burned
and left the Child there in a Ba [..] with a young Woman
together with half a Crown, but did not
say who she came from.

Doctor of Physick on his Oath saith That
on Friday last, the Third Instant this Dept.
was desired to go to Mrs. King in [..] [..]
Street In York, Buildings who was then [..]
to be in Labour which continued in a
shaw way on Saturday and Sunday, when
the Labour because worse in the Afternoon
Says that at now a very diffrentt Labour
and Deptto havefor his [..] aged [..] the Life of the Mother found
it necessary to Divide the Child's Head from
