Informations taken this Twenty fiftth
day of October 1788 at the Parish of
St. John the Evangelist with in the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex
upon an Inqusition touching the death
of Jane Wade lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Mary< no role > the Wife of William Bonnys< no role > as the of little
College Street in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist ,
Taylor on her Oath saith That Jane Wade< no role > the dead
and her Husband John Wade< no role > come to Lodge with
Dept. at Mictmas last, Out Dept. has known the
Deced & her Husband about five Years, and Say,
that they lived very happy together, Says that
last Monday Morning the Twentieth Instant
She Breakfasted with Mr. Wade & the Deced
when they appeared do be in great Harmony
That about Eleven o'Clock that Forenoon Dept.
went into Deced's Room when She told Dept.
that she Would Dress herself to go out appearing
to Dept. to be in perfect Health Says, that Mr.
Wade was then at Work in the Back Room
That in about half an hour she heard
something fall very leaving above Stairs, and
immediately heard Mr. Wade go out of the
Backroom into the Front room (being two
pair of Stairs) and he immediately called
Dept. who went up Stairs directly and was
followed by her Husband, Says that Mr. Wade
had lifted up the Deced's Head, who lay upon the
Floor, but neither spoke or moved, and appeared
to be dead, Says that Mr. Wade fetched Mr. Parrett
an Apothecary who attempted to bled the Deced in
the Arm but she bled very little, and Mr. Parrott said
