Information taken the Twenty
fifth day of June 178 at the Parish
of St. Ann within the Liberty of Wesmr.
in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death
of Robert Ling< no role > lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty & County

James Hop good a Lodger at John Throng< no role > Joseph From< no role > of
Dean Street in the Parish of St. Ann Westmr. on his
Oath saith that Robert Ling< no role > the Deced Lodged and
Slept in the same Room with Dept. Says that the
Deced was a Harness of maker and came to work
last Thursday the Nineteenth Instant for about
an four and then went hour being unable to work
complaining of a pain in his Head, Says that he
has not been able to Work since, Says that on
Monday Night last Dept. went home a little after
Eleven o'Clock in order to go the Bed lying on
his face upon the Floor, with his Shirt Bloody
there being likewise a great deal blood
upon the Floor & upon the Bed Cloaths and in
the Bed, Says that he immediately called some
of the Lodges and the Lord lord who went with
Dept. into the Room, and Dept. saw a large Wound
in the Deced's Throat four whence the Blood
had issued, That he found a Razor on the
Floor by the Bedside open and Bloody, with
which he believes the Deced gave himself the
Wound in the Throat which caused his Death
Says that the Deced appeared to be very low.
