An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at The Parish of Saint Margaret
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter , Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the thirteenth day of June in the twenty eighth
Year of the Reign on our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > , Gentleman, Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of Isabella Falerbertie< no role > then and there lying dead, upon
the Oath of Henry Hagan< no role > , John Brown< no role > , James Crow< no role >
William Warner< no role > , David Allen< no role > , John Mc. Intosh< no role > , Charles Evans< no role >

< no role > and William Williams< no role > good and lawful Men of the Said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Isabella Falerbertie< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say That the said Isabella Falerbertie not
being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding but Lunatick
and distracted on the sixteenth day of April in the Year aforesaid
from and out of a certain One pair of Stairs Window in the dwelling
House of Duncan Watson< no role > situate in Strutton Ground in the said
Parish of Saint Margaret within the Liberty and County
aforesaid did violently cast and throw herself to the Ground to and
against the stone pavement of the back Yard belonging to the
said Dwelling House by means of which said Casting and
throwing she the said Isabella Falerbertie< no role > did then and
there receive divers mortal Fractures and Bruises in and upon
the Body and both the Arms of her the said Isabella Falerbertie
of which said mortal Fractures and Bruises she the said
Isabella Falerbertie from the said sixteenth day of April in the
Year aforesaid until the twelfth day of June in the same Year
at the said Parish of Saint Margaret within the Liberty and County
aforesaid did languish and live on which said twelfth day of June she
the said Isabella Falerbertie at the Parish Liberty and County.
aforesaid of the mortal Fractures and Bruises aforesaid did die

And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Isabella Falerbertie< no role > not being of sound Mind
Memory and Understanding but Lunatick and distracted in manner and by the means aforesaid did kill herself
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Henry Hagan< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors on the
behalf of himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals
the Day year and place abovementioned
