An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at Knightsbridge in the Parish of Saint Margaret
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter , Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the tenth day of June in the twenty eighth
Year of the Reign on our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and So forth, before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > , Gentleman, Coroner of our said Lord the King for the Said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of William Bounton< no role > then and there lying dead, upon
the Oath of George Puffer< no role > , Thomas Shipley< no role > , William Bowell< no role > ,
Thomas Coward< no role > , William Westby< no role > , John Beedle< no role >
John Vaughan< no role > , Benjamin Perrin< no role > , Samuel Simpson< no role >
Thomas Barber< no role > , John Lee< no role > , and William
Cleverley
< no role > good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to enquire our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said William Brunton< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say That on the said tenth day of June
in the Year aforesaid the said William Brunton< no role > died
suddenly in Publick Room in the Dwelling House of
John Hitch< no role > Victualler, situate at Knightsbridge in the
said Parish of Saint Margaret within the Liberty and
County aforesaid, that no marks of violence appeared upon
the Body, and that the said William Brunton< no role > departed
this Life in a natural Way.

In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner , as the said George Puffer< no role > Foreman of the
Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows,
in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their Hands &
Seals the Day Year and Place abovementioned.
