chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said

fifth day of July in the Year aforesaid a Person or Persons to the Jurors
aforesaid as yet unknown not having the fear of God before his her or their
Eyes but being moved and seduced by the Instigation of the Devil with
Force and Arms at the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty & County
aforesaid in and upon the said

and our said Lord the King then and there being feloniously wilfully
and of his her or their Malice fore thought did make an Assault
And that the said Person or Persons unknown her the said

into a certain Water Tub in the Dwelling House of

situate in the Parish Liberty and County aforesaid then and there
feloniously wilfully and of his her or their Malice forethought
did violently cast and throw by Means whereof she the said

in the Water in the said Tub was then and there suffocated &
Drowned of which and Suffocation and Drowning she the said
Elizabeth

then and there died And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath
aforesaid do say that the said Person or Persons unknown her the

in Manner and by the Means aforesaid
feloniously wilfully and of his her or their Malice Fore thought
did hill and murder against the Peace of our said Lord the King his
Crown and Dignity. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner
