Informations taken this Second
day of January 1787 at the Parish
of St. John the Evangelist within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Mary
Nechols
< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Jesse Upjohn< no role > of Old Pye Street in the
Parish of St. John the Evangelist Westmr.
Chandler on his Oath saith that on
Wednesay the Twenty seventh day of
December (as Dept. thinks) in the Evening
Mary Nechols the Deced came to Dept.
Shop, That she went out and at the
Doorfell down, upon which Dept. helped
her up That she walked in Pye Street
towards home, Says that in two or
three Minutes he was informed that
the Deced had fallen again, Says that
he went to the Deced and found her
on the Ground in the said Street unable
to move herself Says that he assisted
her to his House and found a Compound
Fracture in her [..] falls Leg the Bone
being through her Stocking, Says
that a [..] Mr. Neathle carried her to her Huck [..]
House in Orchard, Street and Dept. was
informed that she was carried that
Night to the Westmr. Hospital in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westmr. where
she died yesterday as Dept. was informed
Says that the Deced appeared to be in Liquor
and Dept believes that her fall was Accidentally
