Joseph Keys< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Raddolph
in Charles Street on his Oath saith That
one day about three Weeks ago about three
o'Clock in the Afternoon Dept. was going house
and in Charles Street by her Street Door
with her Cloaths on Fire and some People
endeavouring to extinguish it Says that
he helped to get Deced up Stairs into her
own Room and Deced was put into Bed
the Deced appearing to be in Liquor
That Deced said that the Chair woman, (who
was present,) with a piece of paper lighted
a Candle, then there the Paper which was
Burning behind the Fire, and that the
Paper fell from the Fire upon her Clothes
and set them on Fire, which the Woman
denied and inserted that the Paper burnt
out behind the Fire
