Informations taken their Fourth
day of December 1786 at the Parish
of St. Marin in the Fields within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of a Man unknown
lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County

William Skinner< no role > of Hungerford Market
Laborer , on his Oath saith that this
Morning about a Quarter after five o'Clock
Dept. was walking under the Shore at
York building in order to get back into
or sail Boat there (where he had slept
the Night) to Sleep again when he
saw a man lying on his Force in
the Gravel about twenty five Yards
from the Water of the River Thames
in the Parish of St. Martin in the
fields the Tide the running double says that he called Mr. Flowers
and Thomas Cook< no role > who came to the Deced
and afterwards two other Men come who
turned the Deced up, he being dead
his Cloaths very wet but Deced did
not appear to have been long in the
River, Says that he observed no Marks
of violence upon the Deced.
