Informations taken this Third day of
June 1786 at the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Butler Fox< no role > [..] lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Elizabeth Scott< no role > Daughter of Thomas Scott< no role >
Victualler at the Plow in Broken Cross in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . on her Oath
saith That Yesterday about one o' Clock Butcher
Fox the Deced. came to Mr Scotts and called
for three pennyworth of Gen and Water
That his Grandson soon after came there and
they had a Pott of Beer but Deced did not
Drink any part of the Liquor, the appeared
to be very ill Says that Deced asked for
the Key of the Privy, which he had, and
went out of the Taprooms into the Passage [..]
and that sat down upon a Bench there
Says that she heard the Deced Groom
and went to him, when he appeared
to be dying, and he died immediately
and Dept. believes that the Deced died
in a natural way.
