Informations taken this Sixth
day of April 1786 at Tothill Fields
Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Thomas Rogers< no role >
a Prisoner then and there lying dead

Richard Walker< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Fields
Bridewell on his Oath saith, That Thomas
Rogers
< no role > the Deced was brought to said Prison
about two Months ago or upwards a Prisoners
appearing then to be in perfect Health,
That he continued so until about three
Weeks past when he complained of a
Giddiness, and Sickness at his Stomach
That he grew worse and was put into
the Sick Ward, and was attended by the
apothecary that attends the Prison who
sent. Deced Medicines, which he took
having a Fever, and growing worse
he died in said Prison Yesterday about
of five of the Clock in the afternoon
Says that the Deced had his Allowance
daily from the Governor, and was not
ill used by the Governor or any other
Person in said Prison, and Dept.
believes that the Deced died in a
natural Way.
