Informations taken this Twenty
Eighth day of March 1786 at the
Parish of St George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the Death of a Man unknown
lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County

Thomas Badham< no role > Servant at the
Workhouse of the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square on his Oath Saith, That on Saturday
Evening last the Twenty fifth Instant
he this Dept. was desired to go with Others
from the said Workhouse to fetch a Man
that was Drowned in the Bason in Hude
Park, says that he went with other Men
and in the Bason in Hyde Park they
found the Body of a Man unknown
Drowned there whom they faith a
Rope Pulled out of the Water to the
shore, says that the Deced's Eyes looked
black, but the Deced appeared to have
been at least a fortnight in the Water
and in a state of Putrefaction, and
says that he did not know the Deced
