Informations taken this Ninth
day of February 1786 at the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex
upon on Inquisition touching the death
of William Livers lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County

John Cunningham< no role > Servant to Mr. Prigs
a Coal Merchant in Scotland Yard , on his
Oath saith, That Yesterday between the hour
of four and five in the Afternoon Dept. was
going with his Master's Horses to Wash their
in the Thomas at the bottom of Scotland
Yard when he saw [..] William Sever< no role > the
Deced in the Thames lying upon his face
at the inside of a Barge there in the
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , Says that
he called his Fellows Servants who went
with him to the Deced and carried him
upon a Ladder to the Share the Deced
being dead and appearing to have been
some time Drowned, but Dept. observed
no Marks of violence upon the Deced.

William Simms< no role > of Isleworth in the Court
of Midsex Waterman on his Oath saith
That on Monday Night last (February the
Sixth) Dept. was at Hungerford with his
Boat, That William Severs the Deced was
likewise with a Lug Boat with Staves in
it, That the Deced was on Shore that Night
and Dept. slept in his own Boat, upon the Wa [..] Says that
about half past five o'Clock on Tuesday
Morning the Seventh Instant the Deced and
Richard Love< no role > Dept. Servant come down toward
the Boat and Love went into Dept. Boat
and they both Rowed the Boat up the River
immediately, and Deced went towards his
own
