Informations taken this Twenty sixth
day of December 1785 at the Parish of
St. Martin in the Fields within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the death
of James Stanton< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Everard Home< no role > of Great Newport Street in the
Parish of St. Anne Westminster Surgeon on
his Oath saith, That on Saturday last about
Eleven o'Clock two Man come to Dept. desirors
him to come to the Deced who was thought
to be dead, but was Warm, Says that he
went and found the Deced laid out, but
Deced was warm, which Dept. thought
rather Extraordinery, Says that he bled
the Deced, and used the Means usually
taken to recoved Drowned Persons for
sometime, without Effect, Says that he
this day opened the Body of the Deced
Examined it carefully and found every
part in a natural State, and Says that
the Deced died a natural Death.

on his Oath saith That he was with Mr. [..]
this day when the Body of James Stanton< no role > was
opened. That they found every part in the
proper State, and that the Deced died a
natural Way.
