Informations taken this twenty fourth
day of December 1785 at the Parish
of St. Margaret Westminster in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of a Woman unknown lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty & County

John Hogan< no role > of Fore Street in the Parish
of St. Mary Lambeth Waterman on his Oath
saith That about One o'Clock this day Dept
was standing at the Plying Place [..] Bridgeat
Westminster Bridge when he heard a Fisherman
call out that there was a Drowned Person
there, upon which Dept want [..] immediately
and saw the Woman (whom Dept. did not
Know, lying on the Shore by the side of the
River Frances near the Duke of Newcastle's
Wall in the Parish of St Margaret Westmr. being left there by the side [..] then
Ebbed as Dept believes, Says that she
saw no Marks of violence upon the Body
which did not appear to have been long
Drowned.
