Informations taken this Thirtieth day
of June 1785 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of
Westmr. in the County of Middlesex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
Richard Hartley< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty & County.

Thomas Haden< no role > House Surgeon at St. George's
Hospital in the Parish of St. George'sHospital
Hanover Square Westmr. on his Oath saith That
on Tuesday Evening last (June 28th.) Richard
Hartley
< no role > the Deced was brought to said Hospital
from Hyde Park , having been run over by
a Horse there as Dept. was informed, Says
that the had searce any Pulse, nor was
the Deced able to move himself, Says that
he could not discover where the Deced
was hurt, nor could the Deced inform
him, Says that every thing proper was
done for him, but the Deced grew weaker
and died in the Hospital very early the
next Morning the twenty ninth Instant
Says that he opened the Body, to day
and in the Chest found a great Quantity
of Extravasated Blood, which was the cause
of Deced's Death
