of May 1785 at the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Midsex upon an Inquisitn.
touching the death of Robert Jurquet< no role >
lyingdead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Sarah Treadaway< no role > on her Oath saith That
she was Servant to Robert Jurquet< no role > the Deced
in Hungerford Street in the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields and has lived there almost a
Quarter of a Year, Says that the Deced
was at house yesterday Evening and went
to Bed about ten or Eleven o'Clock with
two small Children Says that she did not
hear the Deced move in the Night That she
got up this Morning a little before Seven
o'Clock, and was going to open the Shop
Window, That she opened the Leitch of Deced
Shop Door, (which was not Locked) and on
looking into the Shop She Saw a great Deal
of Blood upon the Floor, which frightened
her, but Dept. did not see the Deced at that
time, That she immediately acquainted the
Nurse, who went out to call Mr. Collier
a Neighbour who came to the Deced, this
Dept. did not go with him but afterwards
went into the Shop and saw the Deced lying
upon the Floor and a great Deal of Blood
upon the Floor Deced having a large
Wound in his Throat, and was dead,
and Dept. says that she believes the Deced
gave himself the Wound in the Throat [..]
a Razor [..] which caused his Death Says
that the Deced has been Melancholy and low
Spirited for three or four days, and different
from what he used to be.
