Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margaret
willing the Liberty of Westmr . in the
County of Midsex before an Inquisition
touching the death of Mary Price< no role >
a Prisoner lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty & County

Mary Lawrence< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill
Fields Bridewell on her Oath saith That
on Friday last was fortnight, the Deced Mary
Price
< no role > and this Dept. were Walking together
in Oxford Street Piccadilly in the Parish of
St. James Westmr . Says that they were
taken up by Mr. Foster one of the Patrole
of that Parish, were next Morning carried
before. Mr. Justice Hyde [..] committed them
to Tothill Fields Bridewell the Deced being
very ill, had been so some time and
appeared to be in a Decline, Says that
the Deced was better for two or three days
in the Prison, and afterwards a new work
and continued to be so until her Death
which happened on her Yesterday or Sunday
last, Says the that Deced had her Allowance
every Day from the Governor, who likewise
sent the Deced Wine Says that the Deced
was not ill treated by the Governor or any
other Person in the Prison, and Dept.
believes that the Deced died a natural
Death, that is of a Fever.

Bridewell on his Oath saith That she has
been there a fortnight and found Mary Price< no role >
the Deced there complaining of a shortness of
Breadth and a pain in her side which she had
had for about three Months Says that Deced grew [..]
and died Yesterday Morning, Says, that the
Deced had her Allowance in the Prison and was
not ill used there, and died a Natural [..]
