Informations taken this Ninth
day of Decr. 1784 at the Parish of St.
George Hanover Square within the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death
of Ann Bondalying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

John Bayes< no role > of Neat Houses in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square Gardener on his
Oath saith That on Tuesday Evening last the
Seventh Instant about a Quarter before six
o Clock Dept. was going to Chelsea ; by the
side of the River Thames at the Neat Houses
when he heard somebody Groan by the
side of the Wharf; upon which he went to
Mr. Sadler's who came with him bringing
a Candle to the Deced, whom they found
upon her Hands and Knees upon the
Gravel being part of the Bed of the River
Thames , Says that the Deced was not
able to speak and appeared to be dying
Says that he helped to carry Deced to Mr.
Maybank's (whose Servant Deced was.)
where she died immediately. and Dept.
thinks that she Reced some inward hurt
by a fall off the Wharf and that the fall
was Accidental.
