Informations taken this Sixteenth
day of November 1784 at the Parish
of St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of William Mure< no role > Esqr . lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County

William Mc.Intosh< no role > late Servant to William
Mure
< no role > the Deced on his Oath saith That he has
lived with the Deced about one Year & an half
That the Deced in September last came to
Lodge at Mr. John Russell< no role > s in Crown Court in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . Says that the
Deced [..] me home last Night a little before
Ten o Clock and went up Stairs into the
Dining Room where Dept. pulled off the Deced's
Boots, after which Deced told Dept. that he
should not want him afterwards, upon which
Dept. went away leaving the Deced alone in the
Dining Room, Says that about half past Seven
this Morning Depot. heard a Noise below as if
some thing had fallen down, Says that he got
up about ten Minutes after Eight o'Clock, and
on his going into the Kitchen Mrs. Russell
told him that she had heard his Master up
upon which Dept. went up Stairs and saw
a Letter upon a Table in the Dining Room
directed to Colonel Campbell, That he then
opened the Deced's Bed Chamber Door and saw the
Deced lying upon the Floor there [..] his
Head near the Door, Says that he was frightened,
ran down Stairs, and said to Mr. Russell that
he was afraid his Master was dead, and imediately
carried the Letter to Colonel Campbell, who was
with Dept. to the Deced, and they then saw
much
