Informations of Witnesses taken upon
Oath this 30th day of August 1784, at the
Dwelling House of Mr. Thos. Mackell< no role > the
three Tobacco Pipes in Dane Street in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westminster , Before
Thos. Prickard< no role > Gentleman , Coroner, on View
of the Body of Thos. Lunt< no role > a Child aged 3 Years.

Sarah Hawkins< no role > of Dane Street Westmr. on her oath saith That
last Wednesday between 2 and 3 o'Clock in the Afternoon, being
in Dane Street she saw the Deced on its face on the Cellar Window
Shutter of the House of Mr. Tooley in the said Street where the
Parents of the Child lodged and presently the Mother of the Child
came and took it up and carried it into the House.

Stephen Lockhart< no role > of the Roadway Surgeon on his Oath saith
that he was sent for on Wednesday last to see the Deced Child
but not being then at home went the next Day and saw the
Child and gave it as his Opinion that from the fall the Child
had received a Fracture on the Skull, which from the Symptons
already brought on must terminate in Death, the following Day
Convulsions and Death Succeeded in consequence of the Injury, the
Mother of the Child decribed to Deponent in the greatest Distress
that he was in the Room when the Child fell out of the Maidon but had
not time to get to it fast enough to prevent it.
