The whole I know of this Business is that
being call'd Yesterday about 4 o Clock in the
Afternoon to a Woman in Moores Yard when
I came, I found her throat Cut and Bleeding
I examined the wound and found the Knife
had gone thro the Wind pipe and Gullett
I found Mr Leak the Surgeon of St Martins
Lane was comingand in consultation
we thought proper to sew it upin
order to Stop the Bleeding which I did
Not finding there was any appearance
of Necessary that care could be taken of
her at homeand as was still, Life
she the breathing freely and the Blood
nearby stoptI sent for Coach, and put
her in, and sent her to the Hospital

The above, is all I know concerning the
affairand can safely Swear the
Wound was the cause of her death
