Joseph Bedew< no role > of Marlborough Street on his
Oath saith That he was at the Sign of the
Condict in Conduct Street Yesterday about four
o'Clock in the afternoon when Mrs. Blyth informed
the Company in the Parlour [..] that the Deced had
Hanged himself upon which Dept. Mr. Smith
and another Person went up Stairs, and
found the Deced Hanging by a Cord fixed to
the top of the Post at the feet of the Bed and
about the Deced's Neck, Says that he halped
to support the Deced white another Person
Cut the Cord, and Deced was laid upon the
Bed, Says that the Deced was dead but not
Cold, Says that a Surgeon attempted to bleed
the Deced in the Arm but he bled a few
drops only, and the Surgeon said the Deced
was dead and believes that the Deced
Hanged himself.
