the Deced used to come frequently into<lb></lb>
the Watchhouse in the Day time to Warm himself<lb></lb>
That he came there yesterday about three o'Clock<lb></lb>
in the Afternoon, Says that about four o'Clock this<lb></lb>
Dept. had occasion to go out and Deced said that<lb></lb>
he would stay there until Dept. came back if he<lb></lb>
would give him leave, to which Dept. agreed, and<lb></lb>
went out, Says that Dept. returned in about<lb></lb>
three Quarters of an hour and found the Watchhouse<lb></lb>
Door Locked as he left it, Says that he opened the<lb></lb>
Door with his Key, and looking around he saw the<lb></lb>
Deced Hanging by a Cord which was about his Neck<lb></lb>
and fastened to an Iron Ring fastend into the Brass<lb></lb>
Says that he immediately called in a Main who<lb></lb>
cut the Cord by which Deced was Hanging whilst<lb></lb>
another Man, who as called in, lefted up the Body<lb></lb>
Says that the Deced was<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
laid upon the Table<lb></lb>
Say that there was no Person in the Watchhouse<lb></lb>
with Deced when Dept. went out, and believes<lb></lb>
that the Deced Hanged Himself. Says that the<lb></lb>
Deced has been Dull and low Spiritted for sometime<lb></lb>
and was so Yesterday, and that the Deced complained<lb></lb>
of some Disagreement with his Wife.</p>
