upon an Inquisition
touching the death of

dead in the said Parish Liberty & County

a Chelsea Pensioner
on his Oath
saith That on Tuesday last between four and
five o'Clock in the Afternoon this Dept. was
returning from Chelsea College
where he received
half a year's Pension, and being with James
Sterling< no role >
[..] another Pensioner in the Road
between Chelsea Bridge and the Fire Engine
he heard a Cart in the Road following them
(Dept. walking in the Middle of the Road) Say
that two Carts passed by, and that one of them
forced the Deced down and the Meet passed on
the Deced's Loyns, Says that when he recovered
himself he saw a Man (when he did not known
lying dead in the Road orderly opposite to the
Place where Depont. laid but Dept. does not know
what occasioned his Death
