this day the Surgeon (Mr. Hurter's Journeyman)
came to see Deced, went up Stairs knocked
at Deced's Door and called but had no Answer
Says that soon after a Banker Clerk brought a Note for
the Payment of Thirty, or Thirty five Pounds
who called at Deced's Room Door but
had no Answer, Says that about three
o'Clock this Afternoon Dept. suspecting
that Deced was ill, called and Knocked
at Deced's Room Door, which was Locked
as well as the Door which opens into
the Bedchamber from the top of the Stairs
and saw the Keys in those Locks on
the inside, Say that she first acquainted
Mr. Seape, Servant to Mr. Webb a Lodger
on the first Floor, and afterwards her
Master who had the Door forced open by
a Smith, and than Dept. saw the Deced
lying on his face upon the Floor, with
a great Deal of Blood upon the Floor
Says that the Deced was dead, and
Depont. believes that the Deced killed
himself but the Dept. being frightened
did not observe where the Blood issued
from. Says that the Deced has been ill
about Eight Months, and worse for the
last five days.

Jeffrey Scrape< no role > Servant to Mr. Webb a Lodger
at Mr. Dalby's on his Oath saith That he was
present this Afternoon when the Deced's Room
Door was forced open and on going into the
Room saw the Deced lying upon his fore on the
Floor with his Cloaths Bloody and a great
Quantity of Blood in different parts of the
Room Says that he did not then see where
the Blood issued from but has since seen
three Wounds in Deced's Left Arm, which
Dept. believes to be the came of Deced's [..]
Says that he found a Razor upon the Table
in the Room open and Bloddy with which
be believes the Deced gave himself the
Wounds abovementioned

Alley Coleman Street London on his Oath sixth
that he has known the Deced about fourteen
Years and used to call upon the Deced
once in three weeks on a Month, Says that
the Deced has been ill about Eight months
and of late very low Spirited, & depressed
and that he was particularly so the last
time Dept. saw him about a fortnight of [..]
Says that the Deced's Answers were
in coherent, and Dept. sometimes thought
that the Deced's Mind was Disordered
