Elias Peter Petit< no role > of Maclesfield Street
in the Parish of St. Anne Westmr. Jeweller
on his Oath saith That Samuel Crisp< no role > the Deced
has lodged with Dept. four Years, Says that
being at Work last Saturday he was called
down Stairs, and was informed that somebody
Groaned in Deced's Room on the first Floor
Says that he found the Deced's Room Door
fastened, that on looking [..] to the Key hole
he saw the Deced sitting in a Chair hear
the Bed side bleeding from a Wound
in the Throat Says that the Room Door
was forced open, and Deced bled from
a Slight Wound in the Throat, and said that
he had taken Poison, which he had by
him to kill Buggs, Says that the Deced
Vomitted, and Purged violently, which
continued thatEveningAfternoon, and
Deced died there about a Quarter before
Twelve that Evening, and Dept. believes
that the Deced Pound himself, and that
he was at times Disordered in his Senses

Covent Garden Apothecary on his Oath saith
That on Saturday last about Eleven o'Clock
Dept. was desired to come to the Deced,
Says that he went and found a Superficiet
Wound in Deced's Throat which Dept.
thought was not Mortal, and Deced told they Dept [..]
that he had taken Poison which he had
to kill Buggs, and that it was Mercury,
Says that the Deced Vomitted and Purged
very much, and Deced died that Night
in consequence of having taken the Poison
Says that he has known the Deced about

five and twenty Years, and from his
Conversation and Letters Dept. does believes
that he was at times Disordered in his
Mind.
