Informations taken this twenty ninth
day of December 1783 at Tothill Fields
Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching the
of Ann Evans< no role > a Prisoner there lying dead

Thomasin Nesbit< no role > Widow Prisoner in Tothill
Fields Bridewell on her Oath saith, That
she has been Prisoner there about three Weeks
and then found Ann Evans< no role > the Deced Prisoner
there appearing to be very ill having an
Asthma and shortness of Breath, That she
continued so until last Saturday Night, when
she grew worse and could hardly Breath
Says that Mr. Purd [..] the Apothecary attended
her the next Morning (being the twenty eighth
Instant,) That he bled the Deced and sent
her some Medicines, but Deced died that
day, Says thatSays thatthe Deced had
her Allowance every Day from the Governr.
who sent Deced Balm Tea and Hot Wine
That the Deced was not ill used in the
Prison, and that Deced died a natural
Death.
