chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said

h er Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said

of sound Mind Memory and Understanding but lunatick and
distracted on the said Twenty seventh day of December in the
Year aforesaid into a certain Cistern within the Dwelling-
House of the said

in the Parish aforesaid
within the Liberty and County aforesaid, there did cast
and throw herself, by Means of which said Casting and
Throwing she the said

in the Water in the
said Cistern was then and there Suffocated and drowned,
of which said Suffocation and Drowning she the said
Mary Clarke< no role >
then and there died. And so the Jurors aforesaid
upon their Oath aforesaid do say, That the said

in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, not being of sound Mind
Memory and Understanding but lunatick and distracted, did
drown and kill herself. In Witness whereof as
well the said Coroner as, the said
