Informations taken this fifteenth
day of October 1783 at the Parish
of St. Margaret within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the Death
of Mrs. Manning lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County

Archdall Harris< no role > of New Palace Yard
Westmr. Surgeon on his Oath saith That
last Night he Examined the Body of
Mrs. Manning in the Workhouse belonging
to the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . and
found no Marks of violence thereupon
and therefore is of opinion that the Deced
died a natural Death.

of Vine Street in the Parish of St. Mary
Lambeth Stone Sawyer on her Oath saith
That she frequently saw the Deced with
Mrs. South, (who lodges with Dept. and Sells
Fruit upon Westmr. Bridge,) That Mrs. South
told Dept. that Mrs. Manning was Starving
for want of Bread, but could work with
her Needle, upon which Dept. said that
she Victuals for her work, and on Monday
the Sixth Instant Deced came to Dept.
Hence, and Dept. gave her Victuals of
which she Eat hearty, and Dept. gave her
some Stockings to Mind, That Deced went
out to Lodge that Night and returned ten
next Morning, Saying she was purely,
but soon after complained of a pain in her Bowels
