Informations taken his Twelfth day
of September 1783 at the Parish of St.
Margaret within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Middlesex upon an
Inquisitions touching the death of a
new bornChild lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County

Archdall Harris< no role > of New Palace Yard
Westmr. Surgeon on his Oath saith That
he has this day examined the Body of
a Female Child which is in a State of
Putrefaction, Says that he observed no
Marks of violence upon the Body, nor
does the Child appear to be come to Maturity
but Dept. thinks that it come two Months
before its time. and Dept. cannot say
that the Child was born alive.

Elizabeth Pearce< no role > Wife of Thomas Pearce< no role > of
Tothill Fields in her Oath saith That on being
informed yesterday by Mr. Burgess that a
dead Child lay in Dr. Fordyce's Field in
the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . Dept. went
there and saw the Child lying on the Ground
and a Wooden Box near it. and a Shirt &
a Cap, Says that the Child was in a State of
Putrefaction, but Dept. cannot say whether
it was come its full time or not.
