Informations taken this Tenth day
of December 1782 at the Parish of St.
George Hanover Square in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Ann Perkins< no role >
an Infant lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Hannah< no role > the Wife of Thomas Perkins< no role > a Laborer
Lodging at the House of Michael Bryant< no role >
in upper Mount Street in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square on her Oath saith That on
Thursday the Twenty first day of Novr. last
this Dept. was in her Room with the Deced
(an Infant of the Age of two Years & four
Months) and another Child aged about
nine months, Says that the went down
Stairs to take in some Milk for the
Children's Supper leaving the Children
in the Room, That she stairs not more than
three Minutes and as she returned up
Stairs she heard the Youngest Child cry, and
on going into the Room saw the Deced
setting upon the feet of the Bed with her
Cloaths on the forepart on fire, in a Flam
Says, that she past the Fire out took off
the Child Cloaths and some Oil was put
upon the part of her that was burnt
Says that more Oil was used, that
she continued ill, and died on Sunday
the Eighth Instant about a Quarter after
four in the Morning
