John Chapman< no role > of Warwick Street Victucaller
on his Oath saith That on Saturday Evening
last (12th. October) about half after Six o'Clock
Mrs. Hall came to Dept. desiring him for
God's sake to go with her that Mrs. Devall
was burnt Says that he went immediately
and found the Deced lying on her back on
the Kitchen Floor near the Fire with her
Head over the Fender and holding one
of the Iron bars with her Hand, her Cloaths
being on Fire and the Deced very much
burnt Says that he lifted Deced up, who
had life in her as Dept. thought Says that
two Apothecaries were fetched who said
that Deced was dead, and Dept. believes
that the Deced was Accidentally burnt.
