Seven Weeks with the Deced, That yesterday<lb></lb>
Morning about Nine o'Clock Dept. went up<lb></lb>
Stairs to Deced's Room Door and finding it<lb></lb>
fastened she called, and Deced in the Room<lb></lb>
said hat he was not well and could not open<lb></lb>
the Door, Says that in about an hour after<lb></lb>
a soldier came for a Pair of Shoes which<lb></lb>
Deced had to Mind, and after calling several<lb></lb>
times and having no Answer the Soldier forced<lb></lb>
open the Door with a Hatchett in the presence <lb></lb>
of this Dept. and Mr. & Mrs. Hawkes, and they went<lb></lb>
into the Room, but Deced went down Stairs<lb></lb>
and did not see the Deced until he was cut<lb></lb>
down, and Dept believes that the Deced<lb></lb>
Hanged himself</p>

came to Dept. saying that she had been to Deced;<lb></lb>

the Door and called several times but Deced<lb></lb>
made no Answer, That a little after a <rs type="occupation" id="WACWIC65218_occ409">Soldier</rs>

came for a pair of Shoes who went with<lb></lb>
Dept. to the Door, and called something and <lb></lb>
had no Answer, and finding the Door fastened<lb></lb>
the Soldier with a Halchet forced open the Door<lb></lb>
and went in with Dept. Says that he saw<lb></lb>
the Deced Hanging by a Cord which was put<lb></lb>
around a Shelf at the Read of Deceds Bed<lb></lb>
and about the Deced's Neck, Says that he cut<lb></lb>
the Cord and Deced dropped<del>fell</del>
upon the Bed, Says that <lb></lb>
an <rs type="occupation" id="WACWIC65218_occ410">Apothecary</rs>
<interp inst="WACWIC65218_occ410" type="occupation" value="Apothecary"></interp>
bled the Deced in the Arm<lb></lb>
& that he bled about half a Tea Cup full</p>
<p n="1301">but the Deced was dead, the not Cold<lb></lb>
Says that the Door was locked and that he <lb></lb>
found the Key upon the Deced's Working Seat<lb></lb>
on the inside of the Room from whence this <lb></lb>
Dept. believes that the Deced Hanged himself</p>
