Informations taken this Twenty second
day of August 1777 at the Parish of St.
John the Evangelist within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of a Man
unknown lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Robert Curtis< no role > Beadle of the Parish of St. John
the Evangelist Westmr. on his Oath saith, That
a Girl came to Dept. House about Eight
o'Clock this Morning, and informed him
that a Drowned Man lay on the Shore
on Mill Bank, Says that he went there
and saw the Deced lying on the Shore by the side of the [..] Thomas
near Peterborough House in the Parish
of St. John the Evangelist Westmr. about
two or three Yards from the Water, the
Tide then Ebbing, Says that he ordered
the Bearer to carry the Deced to the
Bone house of said Parish which was
done.
