Informations of Witnesses taken this 13th, day
of August 1777 , at the Dwelling House of Mrs. Douglas
the Sign of the Golden Lyon at Hyde Park corner in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the Liberty of
Westminster . Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman
His Majesty's Coroner for the City and Liberty of
Westminster , touching the Death of William
Quinton
< no role > , then and there lying Dead, on View of
the Body

Abraham Bryant< no role > at No. 210 Oxford Street Carpenter on his Oath Saith
that on Monday last between 3 & 4 o'Clock in the Afternoon he
was at a New House a Building in Hereford Street, his Master
is Shim Tooth< no role > a Carpenter in Whitehorse Street [..] Piccadilly
he and one John Hooper< no role > a Carpenter were standing on a couple
of Scaffold Boards that was laying from the Parlour Window
and the other end on a load or pile of Bucks and pulling a
Rope that was hoisting up a Girder of about the length of
20 foot and about a Foot thickness, they had raised the Girder
about 20 foot from the found, the Rope that was in the
tackle broke, and the Deced being standing on the Area Wall
