Verdict of the Jury touching the Death of Sarah
Fenwick

That the Sarah Fenwick< no role > on the 30th. day of July 1777
not being of Sound Mind Memory and understanding but
Lunatic and Distracted at the Parsih of St. Margaret in
the City of Westminster into the River Thomas there near
to Manchester Stairs by Westminster Bridge did cast and throw herself by
means of which casting and throwing she the said Sarah
Fenwick
< no role > in the Waters of the said River was then and
there suffocated and Drowned of which said Suffocation
and Drowning she the said Sarah Fenwick< no role > then and
there instantly Died. And so the Jurors on their Oath
say that the said Sarah Fenwick< no role > not being of sound
Mind Memory and Understanding but Lunatic and Distracted
in manner and by the means aforesaid did Kill herself
In Witness whereofof onthe Foreman on behalf of himself
and the rest of the Jurors has hereunto set his Hand this
31st. day of July 1777.
