Informations taken this Seventeenth
day of March 1777 at the Parish of St. James
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Robert Andrew< no role > lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County

Howell Jones< no role > Porter to Nicholas Kenny< no role > of St.
James's Street in the Parish of St. James Westmr .
Vinturn on his Oath saith That on Saturday
last (March 15th.) Dept. was Frimmingth Lamps
before his Master's Door when he saw a Dust man
going along the Street with his Cart full of Dust
and asked the Man if he would take away
their Dust, to which the Deced answered that he
would go to Empty his Cart and then come
and in about a Quarter of an four Deced
came with his Cart, Says that the Deced
came down the Lodder with two Baskets
and brought up several Baskets full of
Dust and put them into the Cart, Says then
this Dept. was shll Trimming the Lamps when
one of the Maids came to his saying that
one of the Dustmen was in the Well, upon
which he went to the Well, & That a Man
felt in the Well with a long Pole and brought
up the Deced out of the Well Drowned,
and Dept. believes that he Accidentally fell
into the Well, and that he saw no other
Dustman with the Deced.

Elizabeth Hobbs< no role > on her Oath saith That on
Saturday Morning last between Eleven Twelve
o'Clock Dept. beingbeingat Breakfast in the
Servants Hall in Mr. Kenny's House, Says that
she saw two Men in the Area, That in about a
