Speaking to him, Dept. came out again
Says that there was a disagreeable small in
the Room, and Dept. thought that the Candle
was fallen down, Says that upon his
informing Mr. Robinson therewith, he
immediately wen up Stairs, and returned
immediately saying, O my god, He has shot
himself, and upon Dept. asking who it was,
Mr. Robinson Answered Mr. Damer, says
tha he heard no Noise above Stairs, nor
any Person go up from the time he left
Mr. Dewer alone until he went himself
into Mr. Damer's Room as abovementioned
and believes that the Deced shot himself
but that he did not hear she report of a
Pistol, Says that Mr. Damer before
Supper put his [..] house upon Depts. Head
bidding Dept. keep it on, and on Depts
thanking Depted, he said that he did not
mean to give it him, and says that Mr.
Damer afterwards ordered Mr. Robinson
to put the Deced's Hat upon Dept. Head
which he never had done before, And
Deponent thought that the Deced was not
so Chearful that Night as he had been before
when Dept. attended him, And Dept. Says
that the Deced now not Intoxicated with
Liquor last Night

past appeared to be uneasy and disturbed
in his Mind, and that his Spirits were
oppressed, but Dept. cannot Account for it
