Informations taken this First day of
August 1774 at the Parish of St. Ann within
the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Middlesex
upon an Inquisition touching the death of
William Green< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Robert Badger< no role > (Aged thirteen years) Son of mary
Badger
< no role > of St. Ann's Court in the Parish of St. Ann Westmr
widow on his Oath saith That yesterday about
four o' Clock in the Afternoon the Deced, one George Brown< no role >
another Lad and this Dept. went from St. Ann's Court
together in order to go to Bath, and went to white [..]
stairs where they all went into the Thomas and after
staying there about ten minutes they came [..]
dressed themselves and Brown went home Says that
the Deced this Dept. Edward Henslaw< no role > went into the
River again and the Deced who could not Sworn
shipped off on one side of the Counway and was
Drowned after coming up several times. Says that
another Boy undreped himself and Dived down
and got the Deced out, when he observed no signs
of life in him. Having been in the River about
ten Minutes. Says that there was no Person
close to the Deced when he shipped off the Course [..]
and that he was Accidentally Drowned.
