good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Zephaniah Collins came to
his Death, do upon their Oath say , That the said Zephaniah Collins on the Fifth
day of June in the Year aforesaid walking in the Kings Highway at North End
in the Parish of Kensington
in the County aforesaid, and being then and there
Intoxicated with Liquor, fell down in the said Highway, And that a Man being
the carefully driving a certain Chariot drawn by two Horses in the said
Highway It so happened that the Off Wheel of the said Chariot Accidentally
Casually and by Misfortune passed over the Head and Body of the said
Zephaniah Collins, by Means whereof the said Zephaniah Collins then
and there received divers Bruises in and upon his Head and Body, of which said
Bruises he the said Zephaniah Collins from the said fifth day of June in the Year
aforesaid until the Sixth
[..] of the same Month and Year, at the said Parish
of Kensington
and also at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
in the Liberty
and County aforesaid did languish and languishing did live, on which
said Sixth day of June aforesaid, at the said Parish of St. George Hanover
Square
within the Liberty and County aforesaid he the said Zephaniah
Collins of the mortal Bruises aforesaid did die. And so the Jurors
aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say, that the said Zephaniah Collins
in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, Accidentally Casually and by
Misfortune came to his death, and not otherwise. In Witness
