Informations taken this Sixth day of January
1774 at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square with
the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of William Mills< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty and County

John Hackman< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Andrews in little Russell Street
Covent Garden on his Oath saith, That he with his Wife & Children
were on Tuesday Evening last (Janry. 4.)with Wm. Mills< no role > the
Deced at his Apartment in Derby Court in the Parish of St
George Hanr. Square , That the Deced was Coach man to Mr
Wyndham and came home about Eight o'Clock after carrying
her Master home, Says that it then Snowed, and Deced
was so kind as to carry Deced and his Family home
in Mr. Wyndham's Ch [..] Says that he carried them to the
Door of Depts. Lodging Says that the Deced got off his Box
to help the Children out of the Chariot when the Horses
took Fright and ran away towards Lincoln's Inn Fields ,
That the Deced catched at the Harness and missing it, Day
apprehends that the Deced was struck with the Fore near Wheel
[..] that [..] the
Horses about twenty Yards and could go no further.
and Dept. did not afterwards see him alive, and says the
the Hurt which the Deced reced was merely Accidental
