to Westmr Hospl. on his Oath says<lb></lb>
he saw the Deced brought on Wednesday last in a Coach to the<lb></lb>
Hospital, and he appeared quite delirious, a Consultation of<lb></lb>
Surgeons was then called and his Head ordered to be Trepanned<lb></lb>
a contused wound appearing on the back part of the Head, he<lb></lb>
was accordingly Trepanned, he continued growing worse from the<lb></lb>
time of the Operation and the all possible means was taken<lb></lb>
that was judged necessary and proper he Died this Morning about<lb></lb>
3 o'Clock, upon Examining his head since a large quantity of<lb></lb>
extravacated Blood was found<del>in the</del>
between the Dura and<lb></lb>
Pia Master in the left he Misphere of the Brain, which was<lb></lb>
the cause of his Death</p>

Day Nurse to Westmr. Hospl. on her Oath says<lb></lb>
that on Tuesday last between 1 & 2 o' Clock she saw the Deced<lb></lb>
coming out of the Surgery of the Hospl, & she was Ordered by<lb></lb>
Mr. Dickinson Mr. Pyle the Surgeons Dresser to make a Bed up<lb></lb>
and put him to Bed, the Deced then came into the Ward, &<lb></lb>
she persuawed him to go to Bed, he refused saying to wanted</p>
<p n="1406">to go home to his Children, he said he had no Wife upon<lb></lb>
His Deponents as being him the Question but said he had a<lb></lb>
Person that looked after his Children, the Deponent then said he<lb></lb>
had better said to her or they would, and desired him to go<lb></lb>
to Bed as the Surgeon had Ordered, but he could not be prevailed<lb></lb>
upon to stay, Deponent went & acqd. Mr. Dickinson who came<lb></lb>
& used all importunities he could, but to no purpose, for<lb></lb>
he went away by himself, says he was brought in a Coast<lb></lb>
to the Hospital the next Day, and brought into her Ward, &<lb></lb>
she never hard him speak afterwards.</p>

Consultation whether it was prudent for him to stay in the<lb></lb>
House or go home, they first Agreed He should go home, &</p>
